EPOFIT 4000 IU INJECTION

Epofit 4000 IU injection contains active components like Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Alpha/Epoe. It is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs called erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs). The medication is used to treat anemia that is due to chronic kidney disease (CKD), chemotherapy for cancer, or HIV treatment using zidovudine. It also reduces the requirement for transfusions of red blood cells for patients at risk of losing blood due to surgery planned and other therapies.
Epofit 4000 IU injections should not be used by patients who have uncontrolled hypertension or hypersensitivity active thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) or purified red cell aplasia (PRCA) and uncontrolled seizures, as well as lactation or pregnancy. Also, it should be used carefully in patients with a history of blood clots, heart disease, kidney disease, stroke, thalassemia, liver disease, sickle-cell anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, cancer, or leukemia.
