KETOALFA TABLET

Ketoalfa tablets are nutritional supplements with an active ingredient known as alpha ketoanalogue. It is part of the category of medicines known as amino acids. It is prescribed alongside a diet that is protein-restricted to prevent the development of chronic kidney disease (CKD). It helps reduce uraemic symptoms (caused by the accumulation of nitrogenous substances typically eliminated by kidneys), improves the nutritional state, and decreases metabolic issues for CKD patients. It can lower blood urea levels and reduce the progress of the kidney condition, delaying the requirement for long-term dialysis.
Avoid taking Ketoalfa tablets if intolerant to Alpha Ketoanalogue or its components. Do not consume this medication in the event of hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium) or irregular heartbeats because the administration of this medication could cause higher levels of calcium in the blood as well as irregular heartbeats. While taking treatment, your physician may suggest periodic examinations of calcium levels in your blood. You are notifying your doctor if you are breastfeeding or pregnant before taking this medication.
