It is a protein used to treat carnitine deficiency in children, adults, infants, newborns, and adults. It can also combat and treat carnitine deficiency in patients suffering from end-stage renal diseases who are on dialysis. Carnitine deficiency occurs when the body does not have enough levocarnitine. This medication replenishes this protein, giving an energy source to our body. Do not take lacarnit 1gm injections in case you have an allergy to it or the other ingredients in the medicine. Before taking this medication, consult your physician in case you suffer from severe kidney problems or are in the process of undergoing dialysis. In addition, if you have diabetes and are taking the insulin drug or any other diabetic medication or taking anticoagulant medicines such as warfarin or other blood-clot-reducing drugs.
