SEVAPIK 800MG TABLET

Sevapik 800 mg tablet has an active ingredient dubbed Sevelamer. It is part of the class of phosphate binders. It controls hyperphosphatemia (high blood levels of phosphate) for adult patients who undergo dialysis (hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis) and patients suffering from chronic kidney disease who have elevated serum phosphorus levels. Using it in conjunction with treatments, like Vitamin D and calcium supplementation, is recommended to help prevent bone diseases. A high blood phosphorus level can result in calcification, where deposits are formed and can increase the stiffness of blood vessels, thereby affecting blood flow.
Take a Sevapik 800 mg tablet if you have an allergy to Sevelamer or one of the ingredients in the medicine. Do not consume this medication in case you suffer from lower levels of phosphate as well as bowel obstruction. Before you take this medicine, be sure to inform your doctor if you are expecting or planning to become pregnant or suspect that you are nursing or pregnant. Before you begin the treatment plan, inform your physician to be aware of any issues you may have with swallowing or if you feel your stomach or bowels have issues transporting food.
Also, tell your doctor if you suffer from bowel inflammation or have been through a significant bowel or stomach surgery. Sevapik 800 mg tablet is not recommended for children younger than six years of age due to the lack of studies regarding its effectiveness and safety in the same age group. If your doctor has warned you of a sugar intolerance, be sure to consult with your doctor before taking this medication because it contains lactose.
