Exemption 20mg Injection is a source of an active component, Adalimumab. The drug is an antirheumatic drug that belongs to the category of medicines known as TNF (tumor necrosis factor) inhibitors. It can be used by itself or in conjunction with other medications to alleviate the symptoms of auto-immune diseases. It can be used to treat rheumatoid joint arthritis (a disease in which the body attacks joints which causes pain, swelling, and loss of function) and polyarticular juvenile Idiopathic arthritis (a condition that affects children where the body attacks its joints and causes pain, swelling, and loss of function and retards in development and growth).
It can also be used for treating enthesitis-related arthritis, ankylosing Spondylitis (a condition where the body attacks joint joints in the spinal spine as well as other regions that cause joint damage) and axial spondyloarthritis that does not have any radiographic evidence of ankylosing Spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis (a condition which causes joint pain and scales and swelling over the body) plaque psoriasis the hidradenitis suppurativa (a skin condition that causes pimple-like bumps on your armpits, the groin and anal region) Crohn’s disease ulcerative colitis (a condition that causes sores and swelling in the colon’s lining [large intestine] and the rectum) and non-infectious Uveitis (swelling and inflammation of various regions in the eyes).
Don’t use Exemptia 20mg injection if you are sensitive to Adalimumab or any other ingredient that is in this medication. Do not use this medicine in case you are suffering from active tuberculosis or any other serious infections. Avoid taking this medicine in the event of severe or moderate heart failure. Inform your doctor if you have an active infection prior to commencing the treatment. Discuss with your physician that you suffer from lung problems, heart disease, or kidney problems prior to starting the treatment.
