Ristova 100mg injection is a source of the active component of rituximab. It is used to treat different diseases that affect adults. It can be taken on its own or combined with other medicines to treat  Lymphoma (cancer which affects B-lymphocytes or white blood cells) and chronic lymphocytic Leukemia (a type of cancer that affects B cells). It can also be used for the treatment of moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (a form of arthritis in which the immune system targets the leukapheresis cell body cells that line their joint) when combined with methotrexate in adults. Other indications include granulomatosis and polyangiitis or microscopic angiitis (inflammation of blood vessels that primarily affects the lungs and kidneys) in children and adults two years old and over. It can also treat severe to moderate pemphigus vulgaris (an auto-immune condition that can cause painful burns on the skin and the lining of the mouth, nose, throat, and genitals.
Ristova, 100mg injection, falls into the class of drugs known as monoclonal anti-CD20 antibodies. Don’t take this medicine if you’re allergic to rituximab or any other ingredient in this medicine, suffer from a weak immune system, or are suffering from any active severe disease. Inform your doctor if you suffer from heart disease, problems, or breathing difficulties before starting treatment. Discuss with your physician if you’ve ever suffered a hepatitis B infection, as the infection could reactivate in a handful of cases and is sometimes severe. Breastfeeding and pregnancy are not recommended while using this injectable.
Common adverse effects of Ristova 100mg injections include blood clots and red blood cells, a decrease in the number of dizziness, swelling of the body and face as well as itchy face, diarrhea, more sweating, and high or low blood pressure. Make sure you are using effective contraceptives during treatment as well as 12 months after the last dose if you can become pregnant. This medicine can trigger severe reactions to an infusion within 24 hours following treatment.
