Ikgdar 100mg injection is a source of the active component of rituximab. It is used to treat different diseases that affect adults. It is prescribed either on its own or in conjunction with other medicines to treat non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (cancer that affects B-lymphocytes or white blood cells) and chronic lymphocytic Leukemia (a type of cancer that affects B-cells). It is also used for treating moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (an illness in which the immune system attacks body cells that line its joints) when combined with methotrexate for adults. Other indications include granulomatosis and polyangiitis, also known as microscopic polyangiitis (inflammation of blood vessels that primarily affects the lungs and kidneys) for children and adults aged two years and over. It can also treat moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris (an autoimmune disorder that causes painful pimples on the skin and the lining of the mouth, nasal, and throat) and the genitals.
Ikgdar 100mg injection is part of the class of medicines known as monoclonal antibodies against anti-CD20. Avoid taking this medication if you are sensitive to rituximab or another ingredient in this medicine, suffer from a weak immune system, or suffer from an active disease. Consult your physician when you’ve had a hepatitis B infection, as the infection could recur in a handful of cases and may be severe in some cases.
