REDITUX 500MG INJECTION

Reditux 500mg injection is a medication that contains the active ingredient rituximab. It is used to treat various conditions in adults, including non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, both of which are types of cancer that affect white blood cells called B-lymphocytes. It is also used to treat moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis, a condition in which the immune system attacks the body’s joint cells, combined with methotrexate. Additionally, Reditux is used to treat granulomatosis with polyangiitis or microscopic polyangiitis, an inflammation of the blood vessels that primarily affects the lungs and kidneys in adults and children aged 2 and older. It is also used to treat moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris, an autoimmune condition that causes painful blisters on the skin and mucous membranes. Rituximab, an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, is the ingredient in Reditux 500mg injection. If you have an allergy to rituximab or any other component of the medication, a weakened immune system, or a severe infection, you should avoid using this injection. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have heart disease, heart failure, or breathing issues. If you have had hepatitis B in the past, discuss it with your doctor, as the infection may reactivate and be severe in some cases. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are not advised while taking this medication. Reditux 500mg injection may cause several side effects, including blood infection, anemia, dizziness, facial and body swelling, itching, diarrhea, excessive sweating, and abnormal blood pressure. If you’re capable of becoming pregnant, use reliable contraceptives during treatment and for 12 months after the final dose. Be aware that severe infusion reactions can occur during or within 24 hours of administration, and promptly inform your healthcare provider if you experience symptoms such as elevated blood pressure, chest pain, headache, breathing difficulties, vomiting, skin rashes, or throat swelling.
