REMICADE 100MG INJECTION

Remicade 100mg Injection belongs to the class of antirheumatic drugs called TNF (tumour-necrosis factor) alfa inhibitors and contains Infliximab as its active ingredient. This medication is used for treating various inflammatory conditions. These include autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid, Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis and ankylosing spondylitis.
You should not take this medication if you are allergic to Remicade or its ingredients. This drug should not be given to hypersensitive individuals (allergic) to mouse proteins. This drug is not recommended for people with active tuberculosis or other severe infections like pneumonia or sepsis. It may weaken your immune system and exacerbate the infection.
Inform your doctor before you take Remicade 100 mg  Injection if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. This will only be administered if necessary. You should inform your doctor if you took this medication while pregnant before giving your child any vaccine. Your last treatment must have been at least six months ago before you began breastfeeding. If you are nursing, consult your doctor before taking this medication.
