VAPNIK TABLET Calcium carbonate is the active ingredient in Vapnik Tablet, an antacid medication of the gastrointestinal agent class. It is used to treat calcium deficiency in the body. Patients undergoing dialysis are also prescribed this drug. This drug helps remove phosphate that can’t be eliminated by dialysis.
You should avoid consuming this medication if you have difficulty breathing, skin rashes, or are allergic to Calcium Carbonate or any of its ingredients. If you have kidney stones or have excessive calcium levels in your blood and urine, this drug is not recommended. Before taking the Vapnik tablet, consult your doctor if you have cancer, osteoporosis, or heart problems.
Hypercalcemia is a condition characterized by high levels of calcium in the blood. Hypercalcemia can cause fatigue, nausea, constipation, and excessive thirst. In severe cases, it may cause confusion, muscle weakness, and cardiac abnormalities.
