Zoleget 4mg injection is a potent chemical Zoledronic Acid. It is part of the class of substances known as bisphosphonates. It’s used to lower the amount of calcium in patients’ blood when the level is too high because of tumors. Tumors may accelerate normal bone development to the point in which the calcium released from the bone increases. This is called tumor-induced hypercalcemia (TIH). It can also be used to reduce bone problems in adults with multiple myeloma as well as bone metastases caused by cancerous solid tumors (spread by cancer cells from their site of origin into the bones) as well as the standard treatment for cancer.
Zoleget 4mg injection can also be used to treat or prevent osteoporosis (a condition where bones are weak and thin and easily break) for women who have gone through menopausal changes.
