TOFAKIN 11MG ER TABLET

Tofakin 11mg ER tablet contains the active ingredient Tofacitinib. It is a drug that modifies the disease of rheumatoid arthritis (DMARDs) and is part of the class of immunomodulators. It can be taken by itself or in conjunction with other medications to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis (A disease in which the body attacks joints, which causes pain, swelling and loss of functionality) for people who cannot use or are not responding to other drugs. It can also combat psoriatic joints (Which cause pain, swelling, and scales). It is also recommended for adult patients suffering from moderately active to severe ulcerative colitis.
Other applications of Tofakin 11mg ER tablet are ankylosing Spondylitis (inflammatory condition of the spine). It can also be used to treat polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, which is a chronic disease that causes swelling and pain in joints for patients who are who are two years old or older. The medication works by reducing the activities in the body’s immune system. Inform your doctor if you suffer from a severe tuberculosis infection, active blood infections and liver issues. Inform your physician if you have ever suffered from or had a Hepatitis B infection, as this medication can trigger the condition known as hepatitis B to reactivate.
Do not consume Tofakin 11 mg ER Tablet  if you are sensitive to Tofacitinib or another ingredient in this medication. Contact your doctor when you experience any signs of infection, including chills, fever, sweating, muscle pains, coughing, breathlessness, skin sores, difficulty swallowing or consuming food, or stomach discomfort. Before starting treatment, let your physician know that you have kidney or heart, lung or liver issues, a history of tuberculosis, elevated blood pressure or high cholesterol. It would help if you informed your physician whether you are a current or former smoker.
