EMTREO 5GM INJECTION

Emtreo 5gm injection contains the active ingredient, an anti-cancer medication in the alkylating agent class. This medicine is used in combination with Fludarabine to treat adult patients undergoing allogeneic hemopoietic stem cell transplant  for both malignant and non-malignant conditions. Additionally, it is used to treat malignant diseases in pediatric patients older than one month. If you have an allergy to or any other component of Emtreo 5gm injection, it’s not recommended to take this medication. Additionally, if you have any pre-existing heart, lung, liver, or kidney disorders or infections, notify your doctor before starting treatment. It’s also important to inform your doctor if you’ve recently received a live vaccine or have a genetic disorder that affects bone marrow or DNA repair, such as Fanconi anemia. This medication can lower blood cell counts (myelosuppression), so your doctor will closely monitor your blood counts and liver enzymes during treatment until your hematopoietic system recovers. It’s essential to inform your doctor if you’re pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding before receiving an Emtreo 5gm injection. It would help if you also used reliable contraception during and after the treatment for six months. This medication may affect fertility in men, so it’s advised not to father a child during and up to six months after treatment. In children, skin irritation in the diaper area (dermatitis diaper) may occur, so changing napkins frequently for 6-8 hours is recommended. Consult your doctor for further guidance.
