Valnova  450 mg tablet are antiviral drugs with an active ingredient known as Valganciclovir. It is a member of the class called Antiviral (Non-HIV) medicines. Valganciclovir is transformed into Ganciclovir upon entering the body. It works to combat viral infections. The drug is prescribed to combat Cytomegalovirus (CMV) diseases in the eyes’ retina in people suffering from Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Cytomegalovirus can lead to vision issues and blindness. It also prevents Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in patients who have received organ transplants from someone whom CMV infects in children and adults.
Please don’t take this medicine if allergic to the Valganciclovir drug, Ganciclovir, or its components. Inform your doctor if you have a lower blood-cell number ( WBC, RBC, Platelet). Inform your physician if you received any radiotherapy treatment or hemodialysis (a treatment that removes the waste and water from the blood) or if you have any issues related to kidneys. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Utilize effective contraception throughout and even after treatment. Women should utilize contraceptives for 30 days, while men are advised to use condoms for 90 days after and during the treatment. Talk to your doctor about additional fertility issues. An adjustment in dosage of Valnova tablets 450 mg is available when you suffer from kidney issues. The doctor will periodically conduct blood tests to measure the blood count when using the pills.
