Amigraf, 1mg Capsule, is a source of the active ingredient Tacrolimus. It is an anti-inflammatory drug that belongs to a class of medications known as Calcineurin inhibitors. This capsule is utilized in conjunction with other medicines to prevent rejection of organ transplants in patients who are receiving kidney, liver, or heart transplants. It also helps regulate your body’s immune response, allowing it to take in the newly transplanted organ.
Don’t take Amigraf 1mg Capsule if you are allergic to Tacrolimus or other ingredients in this medication. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotic class. Inform your physician if you suffer from a heart or liver condition before starting the treatment. Contact your doctor right away when you experience an increase in temperature, swelling under the skin (which can be seen as red spots), or if you experience unanswered tiredness, confusion, discoloration of the skin or eyes, decreased output of urine or vision loss and seizures while taking this medication.
Avoid exposure to UV and sunlight light when taking Amigraf 1mg Capsule by putting on appropriate clothing that protects you from UV light and sun exposure. Also, use sunscreen that has the highest sun protection. This is due to the possibility of developing malignant skin conditions as a result of treatment for immunosuppression. The medicine can cause diarrhea. Tell your doctor if you experience diarrhea for more than a day. You must consult your physician before taking the shots if you require any vaccines.
