EMVAL 450MG TABLET

Emval 450mg Tablet is an Antiviral with an active ingredient known as Valganciclovir. It belongs to the class called Antiviral (Non-HIV) medications. Valganciclovir transforms into Ganciclovir once it enters the body. It works to combat viral infections. This drug can be used for treating Cytomegalovirus (CMV) diseases in the eyes’ retina for adults who suffer from Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Cytomegalovirus infections can cause blindness and vision problems. It also prevents Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in patients who have received organ transplants from someone whom CMV infects in both children and adults.
Please do not take this medication if you are allergic to Valganciclovir Ganciclovir and its additional components. Inform your doctor if you have a lower blood-cell number ( WBC, RBC, Platelet). Inform your physician if you received any treatment, such as radiotherapy or hemodialysis (a treatment that removes the waste and water out of the blood) or if you have any kidney issues. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Make sure you are using effective contraception during and after treatment. Women should utilize contraceptives for a period of 30 days, while men can use condoms for up to 90 days after and during the treatment. Consult your physician for any fertility issues. A dose adjustment of Emval  450mg Tablet will be prescribed in case of kidney problems. When using the pills, your physician may periodically take the blood test to check the blood count.
