TREOALL 5GM INJECTION

Treoall 5gm injection is a source of the active ingredient Treosulfan. The drug is a non-neoplastic medicine belonging to the class known as alkylating agents. The treatment is used together in conjunction with Fludarabine to manage allogeneic hemopoietic cell transplant (alloHSCT) in adults suffering from malignant as well as non-malignant. It treats malignancies in children (older by one month).
Do not use the Treoall five-gram injection if you are allergic to Treosulfan or its other components. Inform your physician if you have any infection or problems with your liver, lungs, heart, or kidney. Before beginning treatment, tell your doctor if you have taken any live vaccine or suffer from Fanconi Anemia (inherited bone Marrow Failure Syndromes) or other DNA breakage-related problems. The medicine could reduce your number of blood cells (myelosuppression). Your doctor will monitor your blood count and liver enzymes regularly to determine their function until the recovery of your hematopoietic process.
Before you take the Treoall 5-gm dose, inform your physician if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Make sure you are using a contraceptive that is effective during and after the final dose for six months following the treatment. Tresosulfan can cause fertility problems if recommended not to be a father during and for up to six months after treatment. In children with dermatitis, diaper rash (inflammation in the area of skin within regions around the diaper) can occur, and napkins should be changed often for up to 6-8 hours.
