GRAFTIDE S 360MG TABLET

Graftide S 360 mg tablet is an immunosuppressant containing an active ingredient named Mycophenolate sodium. It falls under the inosine-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor class. The medicine is prescribed to avoid rejection of organs for those who have had one of their organs (such as heart, kidney, and liver transplantations). It is defined as a component of a combination treatment that includes other immunosuppressive medications.
This medication is not recommended during pregnancy because of the risk of miscarriage and congenital disabilities. This medication should not be used for pregnant women unless there are other alternatives and the advantages outweigh the risks. Women who are prone to conceive are strongly advised to take effective contraception when using this tablet to avoid the possibility of pregnancy. Live vaccines shouldn’t be administered when a patient takes Graftide S 360 mg tablet due to the decreased effectiveness of the vaccine and increased risk of contracting an infection. Patients taking this medication are not allowed to donate blood during treatment and, at minimum, six weeks after having stopped treatment. It is a way to ensure that the drug has been completely removed from the body before the donation of blood.
It is recommended not to take this drug if you are allergic to the medication or other ingredients. Inform your physician if you suffer from heart or liver disease before beginning the treatment. Since this medication weakens the body’s immune defenses, it could increase the risk of developing skin cancer. People should minimize exposure to sunlight and UV (UV) ultraviolet (UV) light. Consult your physician immediately if you notice any bruising on the skin, fever, or any other unprovoked dizziness, fatigue, discoloration of the skin or eyes, vision impairment, decreased urinary output, or seizures following this medicine. Graftide S 360mg tablet is an immunosuppressive drug. It can affect a baby’s developing immune system and should be avoided during breastfeeding.
