IDROMET 50MG TABLET

The  Idromet 50mg Tablet belongs to the class of medications known as bisphosphonates. It has Ibandronic acid as its active component. It is used for treating osteoporosis. It is particularly beneficial for postmenopausal women. Osteoporosis is common among women who are postmenopausal because of the loss of estrogen hormone. This medication can slow the loss of bone and decrease the risk of fractures of bones. Don’t take this medication if you are allergic to Ibandronic acid or other ingredients. Consult your doctor if you have trouble standing or sitting for over an hour or more or have suffered from low blood calcium levels.
Before you begin treatment with Idromet 50 mg, tablet notify your physician if you suffer from mouth or tooth issues, such as gum disease or dental problems. Also, inform your doctor if you have scheduled tooth extractions or have not had regular dental visits for a long time. Inform your doctor if you smoke, and this could increase the risk of developing dental problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of cancer or treatments of Bisphosponate (used for treating or preventing bone problems) or if you take Corticosteroids (Prednisolone and Dexamethasone). Inform your doctor if you are experiencing any issues related to the stomach, food pipe, or kidney problems or are considering having dental surgery. The tablet is laced with lactose. Make sure you discuss this with your doctor if you have a problem with sugar.
