Ovidac 2000IU injection is a drug that acts as an antineoplastic belonging to the category of luteinizing hormone analogs with the active ingredient chorionic Gonadotrophin. The drug is used primarily in fertility treatments to increase female ovulation through the process of in vitro fertilization (IVF). It is also employed to boost testosterone production in men who suffer from hypogonadism (the body does not produce adequate testosterone). It can also be used to treat testicular degeneration (movement of the testicles from a higher place to a lower position).
The most common adverse effects that are most likely to be experienced with this medication include redness, pain, swelling on the site of the injection, depression, tiredness, and retention of fluid. Contact your physician if these symptoms concern you or last longer than normal. This medication may increase the chance of developing an ovarian hyperstimulation disorder.
