Indirab Injection

Indirab injection is made up of a Purified Vero Cell Rabies vaccine designed to treat and prevent the symptoms of rabies, both before and after contact with the Virus. The vaccine is created by generating the Virus that causes rabies in those cells and then cleaning it to eliminate undesirable substances. The purified Virus is eliminated, meaning it will no longer cause disease but can trigger the immune system. Pre-exposure vaccination is recommended for people who travel or work in high-risk professions and children who live in areas with a high risk of rabies. Post-exposure prophylaxis is a quick wound treatment and vaccination. This vaccine is derived using the Pitman-Moore strain, which is part of the Rabies virus and grows inside Vero cells.
The acute progressive illness caused by the Virus belongs to the Rhabdoviridae family. It is spread through the saliva of infected animals following scratches or bites. While this infection is 100 100% fatal, it is entirely preventable if you take prompt steps and adequately use the available vaccines, either immunoglobulins or monoclonal antibodies. People who have a history of hypersensitivity to Indirab Injection or its components are not recommended to receive the injection. If someone is experiencing moderate or severe illness, deferring vaccination until they are fully recovered could be beneficial. But a mild disease, like the common cold, will generally not hinder immunization.
