Prohbig 100IU has human Hepatitis B immuneglobulin. It is intended to help protect against the hepatitis B virus in children and adults. Hepatitis B virus can damage your liver, and over time, it can cause the liver to stop functioning effectively. This medicine is generally used if you’ve been exposed to the blood of an infected person, as well as babies born to mothers suffering from the Hepatitis B virus.

It can also be given if you have had a prior Hepatitis B vaccination that hasn’t worked in the event of sexual contact with people with the infection, following the transplant of your liver, or if you are undergoing dialysis for kidneys (waiting for the treatment for hepatitis B vaccination to become fully efficient). Prohbig 100IU Injection shouldn’t be taken if you are suffering from any blood disorders that result in blood clotting or if you’re known to be immunoglobulin A-specific.

Speak to your physician if you suffer from high blood pressure and diabetes blood disorders and are planning or recently having to undergo any vaccinations before beginning the Prohbig 100IU injection. It is usually given along with hepatitis B vaccination.
