Revac-B Injection 0.5 ml has an active agent known as Hepatitis B Injection (rDNA). It helps protect against the hepatitis B virus in infants. The vaccine also shields children from hepatic cell carcinoma (liver cancer). Hepatitis B virus can be described as a virus that causes damage to the liver and slowly hinders the liver’s ability to function efficiently. Revac-B injection 0.5 ml is particularly beneficial for children with neuro issues. The vaccine also provides regular vaccination of premature (born too early) babies with low birth weight, who otherwise may be delayed.
The vaccine is usually administered in a series of 3 or 4 injections in six months. It is recommended for individuals who are at risk of getting the virus.
