Abhay RAB Injection

Abhay Rab Injection is made up of the Purified Vero Cell Rabies vaccine designed to treat and prevent rabies before and after contact with the virus. The vaccine is created by generating the rabies virus within those cells and then cleansing them to remove undesirable substances. The purified virus is then eliminated, meaning it will no longer cause illness but instead trigger an immune reaction. The pre-exposure vaccination is recommended for people who travel, those working in high-risk jobs, and children living in areas prone to rabies. Prophylaxis post-exposure refers to the timely treatment of wounds and vaccination. The vaccine is derived using the Pitman-Moore variant from the Rabies virus, developed within Vero cells.

The rabies virus is a severe progressive illness caused by the rabies virus, which belongs to the  family. It is spread through the saliva of infected animals following scratches or bites. While this infection is 100 100% fatal, it is entirely preventable through timely steps and proper application of available immunoglobulins or monoclonal antibodies. Anyone with hypersensitivity to Abhay Rab injection or any of its constituents shouldn’t be given the vaccine. If a person suffers from a severe to moderate illness, deferring vaccination until they are fully recovered might be beneficial. However, any mild infection like the common cold will not hinder immunization.
