Bdolenic 4 mg injection contains the active ingredient Zoledronic Acid. It is part of the class of compounds known as bisphosphonates. It’s used to decrease the amount of calcium present in the blood of adult patients when the level is too high because of the presence of tumors. Tumors can speed up regular bone changes in a manner in which the calcium release rate out of bone increases. This is referred to as hypercalcemia caused by tumors (TIH). It can also be used to avoid bone-related complications in adults with multiple myeloma as well as bone metastases caused by the solid tumor (spread by cancer cells from their site of origin into the bones) in addition to the standard treatment for cancer.
Bdolenic 4 mg injection is also recommended to treat or prevent osteoporosis (a condition in which bones weaken and thin and easily break) for women who have experienced menopausal change.
