Berab Injection

Berab Injection comprises a Purified Vero Cell Rabies vaccine designed to treat and prevent rabies before and after exposure to the Virus. The vaccine is produced by introducing the Virus that causes rabies in these cells and then cleaning it to eliminate undesirable substances. The Virus that is purified is then eliminated, which means that it will no longer cause illness but rather trigger it to trigger an immune reaction. Pre-exposure vaccinations are recommended for those who travel or work in high-risk professions and children living in areas prone to rabies. Post-exposure prophylaxis is the immediate wound care and vaccination. The vaccine is derived using the Pitman-Moore variant, which is part of the Rabies virus grown within Vero cells.
The acute progressive illness caused by the Virus belongs to the family. It is spread through the saliva of infected animals following scratches or bites. While this infection is 100 percent fatal, it’s entirely preventable by taking prompt steps and adequately using available vaccines such as immunoglobulins and monoclonal antibodies. Anyone hypersensitive to Berab Injection or its components should not be given the injection. If someone suffers from a moderate or severe illness, deferring vaccination until they are fully recovered might be beneficial. However, mild conditions like common colds typically will not hinder vaccination.
