Bonimet 6mg Injection is a part of the class of drugs known as bisphosphonates. It is a source of Ibandronic acid as its active ingredient. It is primarily used in treating osteoporosis, particularly in postmenopausal women. Osteoporosis is common among women who are postmenopausal due to the decrease in estrogen hormone. This medication may help reverse bone loss and decrease the risk of bone fractures. Don’t take this medication if allergic to Ibandronic acid or other components. Consult your doctor if you have trouble standing or sitting for more than an hour or have been diagnosed with low blood calcium.
Before beginning the process using Bonimet 6mg injection tell your physician if you are suffering from any mouth or dental issues like gum disease or poor dental health and planning to extract a tooth or if you haven’t had regular dental treatment for an extended period. Inform your doctor if you smoke, and this could increase the likelihood of having dental problems. Inform your doctor if you have any previous history of cancer or the treatments of Bisphosponate (used in the treatment or prevention of bone problems) or if you are taking Corticosteroids (Prednisolone and Dexamethasone). Inform your doctor if you experience any issues related to the stomach, food pipe, or kidney problems or if you plan to have dental surgery. The tablet is laced with lactose. Talking with your doctor if you are allergic to sugars is essential.
