Cellcept 250mg capsule is an anti-inflammatory with an active ingredient named Mycophenolate mofetil. It falls under the inosine-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor class. It is prescribed to avoid organ rejection in people who have received the organs of a donor (such as heart, kidney transplantation or liver). It is usually prescribed as part of a treatment combination that includes other immunosuppressive medicines.
