Avoid taking this medication if you are allergic to rituximab or any other components, immune-compromised, or suffer from an active disease. Inform your doctor if you suffer from heart disease, failure, or breathing difficulties before initiating treatment. Discuss with your doctor when you’ve had a hepatitis B infection, as the infection can reactivate in a handful of cases and may be severe in some cases. The use of breastfeeding and pregnant women is not advised when receiving this treatment.
