EMTUX 100MG INJECTION

Emtux 100mg injection has the active ingredient of rituximab. It is used to treat various diseases in adults. It can be taken on its own or in conjunction with other medicines to treat non-hodgkin’s Lymphoma (cancer that affects B-lymphocytes, which are white blood cells) as well as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (a type of cancer that targets B-cells). It is also used for treating moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (an illness in which the immune system targets the cells in the body of its joints) together with methotrexate in adults. Other indications include granulomatosis and polyangiitis or microscopic angiitis (inflammation of blood vessels that predominantly affects the lungs and kidneys) for children and adults aged two years or older. It can also treat moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris (an auto-immune condition that can cause painful burns on the skin and the lining of the mouth, nasal, and throat) and the genitals.
Emtux 100mg injection is part of the class of drugs known as monoclonal anti-CD20 antibodies. Avoid taking this medication if you are sensitive to rituximab or another ingredient in this medicine, are immune-compromised, or suffer from an active disease. Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, failure, or breathing issues before initiating treatment. Discuss with your physician if you’ve ever suffered a hepatitis B infection since the infection could reactivate in some cases and is sometimes severe. Breastfeeding and pregnancy are not advised when receiving this treatment.
Expected adverse consequences of Emtux 100mg injection are blood clots, decreased red blood cells, dizziness, and swelling of the body, face, and skin. Itchy face, diarrhea, increased sweating, and high or low blood pressure. Make sure you are using effective contraceptives during treatment as well as 12 months after the last dose if you can become pregnant. This medicine can trigger severe reactions to an infusion within 24 hours following treatment. Inform your doctor or medical professional if you experience any reactions during infusions, like elevated blood pressure and chest pains, headaches, breathing problems, nausea, and skin rashes.
