Epofit 2000 IU injection contains active ingredients like Recombinant human erythropoietin Alfa/ep. It is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs called erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs). The medication is used to treat anaemia that is caused by chronic kidney illness (CKD), as well as chemotherapy for cancer or HIV treatment with zidovudine. It also decreases the need for transfusions of red blood cells for patients at risk of blood loss as a result of surgery planned and other surgical procedures.
