Humog 75IU Injection has the active ingredient Menotrophin. This is an ovulation stimulating agent which is part of the class of drugs known as gonadotropins. It is a very pure mixture of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and the luteinizing hormone (LH). They are both natural hormones created in females and males. They assist the reproductive organs work normal.
Humog 75IU Injection can be intended to help treat fertility issues among women who aren’t ovulating and have polycystic Ovarian Disease and who haven’t had a response to treatment using a medicine known as clomiphene. It also serves to aid in the growth of multiple follicles and, as a result improve fertility for women who undergo IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) or other forms that assist in conception. It can also be used for treating infertility in males because of a low sperm count.
Do not use Humog 75IU Injection if you are sensitive to menotrophin or any other component of this medication. Don’t take this medication if there is an abnormal pituitary gland (a gland that is located at in the middle of the brain that produces certain hormones, such as growth hormones) or in the hypothalamus (an area that is located beneath the brain’s surface called the thalamus that regulates the internal conditions of your body such as blood pressure and temperature) and in the uterus the ovaries, testicles, breasts or in the prostate gland. Before you begin treatment, you’ll be tested for thyroid issues, hormone levels and tumors in the hypothalamus and pituitary glands.
Do not take this medication if you suffer from ovarian cysts that aren’t caused by PCOD vaginal bleeding or menopausal symptoms, issues with the reproductive organs if your womb was removed, or if you are breastfeeding or pregnant. Tell your doctor right away if you experience any of these symptoms like abdominal pain, swelling or weight growth, diarrhea, difficulty in breathing, or decreased urine production. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from or have been diagnosed with liver problems or had and a history of blood-clotting disease prior to starting treatment.
