Humog HP 150IU injection has the active ingredient Menotrophin. This is an ovulation stimulating agent and is part of the class of medicines known as gonadotropins. It is a highly pure mix of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and the luteinizing hormone (LH). These are natural hormones that are produced in males and females. They assist the reproductive organs work normal.
Humog HP150IU Injection can be intended to help treat fertility issues for women who have not been able to ovulate and have polycystic ovarian disorder and who haven’t been able to respond to treatment with a different medication called clomiphene citrate. It can also be used to increase the number of follicles in a woman’s body and, consequently increase fertility among women who are undergoing IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) or other forms assisted conception. It can also be used for treating infertility in males because of a low sperm count.
Do not consume Humog HP 150IU injection if you are sensitive to menotrophin or any other ingredient of this medication. Don’t take this medication if you are suffering from an abnormal pituitary gland (a gland that is located at the brain’s base which is responsible for the production of certain hormones which include growth hormones) or in the hypothalamus (an part of the brain’s surface called the thalamus that regulates the internal conditions of your body like blood pressure and temperature) also in the uterus, Ovaries the testicles, and breasts or the prostate gland. Before starting treatment, you’ll be examined for thyroid underactivity issues, hormone levels and tumors in the hypothalamus and pituitary.
Do not take this medication if you suffer from cysts in your ovaries that are not caused by PCOD vaginal bleeding or menopausal symptoms, issues with the reproductive organs if your womb was removed, or if you are breastfeeding or pregnant. Tell your physician right away if you are experiencing any of these signs, like abdominal pain, swelling and weight growth, diarrhea, difficulty in breathing, or decreased urine output. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from or have been diagnosed with liver problems or had with a history of blood clotting disease prior to starting treatment.
