Jakura 10 mg tablet is made up of the active ingredient Tofacitinib. It is a disease-modifying medication (DMARD) that belongs to the class of immunomodulators. It is utilized in conjunction in combination with other drugs to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis (A disease in which the body attacks joints and joints, causing swelling and pain in addition to loss of functioning) for patients who are unable to use or are not responding to other medicines. It can also be employed to combat psoriatic joint (A condition that causes joint pain, swelling, and scales in the face). It can also be used for adult patients suffering from moderately or severely active ulcerative colitis.
Other uses for Jakura 10mg tablet include treating ankylosing spondylitis (an inflammatory condition of the spine). It can also be used to treat polyarticular juvenile arthritis. This ongoing condition is most commonly responsible for swelling and pain in your joints for those two years old and older. The drug works by reducing the activities of the immune system. Tell your doctor if you are suffering from severe tuberculosis, blood infection, or liver issues. Be sure to inform your doctor if you ever had or are suffering from a Hepatitis B infection, as this medication may trigger hepatitis B to return.
Do not consume Jakura 10mg tablet if you are sensitive to tofacitinib or other ingredients in this medication. Tell your healthcare provider of any symptoms of infection, including sweating, fever, chills, muscle pains or cough, breathlessness or skin sores, weight loss, pain or difficulty swallowing, diarrhea, or stomach discomfort. Before beginning treatment, let your doctor know that you have the following conditions: kidney, heart, lung, or liver issues and an underlying tuberculosis diagnosis or high blood pressure or high cholesterol. Also, inform your doctor in the event that you are a current or previous smoker.
