Maball 100mg injection is a source of the active ingredient of the drug rituximab. It is used to treat different diseases that affect adults. It is prescribed either on its own or in combination with other medications to treat Lymphoma (cancer that affects B-lymphocytes or white blood cells) and chronic lymphocytic Leukemia (the most frequent form of cancer that affects B-cells). It is also used to treat moderate-to-severe arthritis (an illness in which the immune system targets the body cells in the joints it owns) together with methotrexate in adults. Other indications include granulomatosis and polyangiitis, also known as microscopic polyangiitis (inflammation of blood vessels primarily affecting the lungs and kidneys) for children and adults aged two years or older. It can also treat moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris (an auto-immune condition that can cause painful burns on the skin and the lining of the mouth, nose, throat, and genitals.
Maball 100mg injection falls under the class of drugs known as monoclonal anti-CD20 antibodies. Avoid taking this medication if you are intolerant to rituximab or any other ingredient in this medicine suffer from a weak immune system, or suffer from any active severe disease. Inform your physician about heart disease, failure, or breathing issues before initiating treatment. Consult your physician if you’ve ever suffered a hepatitis B infection, as the infection can reactivate in some cases and is sometimes severe. The use of breastfeeding and pregnant women is not recommended while using this injectable.
Common adverse effects triggered by Maball 100mg injections include blood infections, decreased red blood cells, dizziness, and swelling of the body, face, and skin. Itchy the skin, vomiting, sweating, and lower blood pressure or hypertension. Utilize effective contraceptives during treatment and for 12 months following the last dose if you do become pregnant. This medication can cause severe reactions to infusions during or within 24 hours of treatment.
