Mabtas N 100mg injection is a medication that contains rituximab, an active ingredient used to treat various conditions in adults. It can be used alone or in combination with other medications to treat non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, both of which are types of cancer that affect white blood cells called B-lymphocytes. Additionally, it can be used to treat moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in the joints, when used with methotrexate. Other indications include granulomatosis with polyangiitis or microscopic polyangiitis, blood vessel inflammation affecting the lungs and kidneys, and pemphigus vulgaris. This autoimmune condition causes painful blisters on the skin and mucous membranes. This medication can be used in adults and children as young as two. Mantas N 100mg injection is a type of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody medication. It’s important to avoid using this injection if you have an allergy to rituximab or any other component of the medicine, a weakened immune system, or a severe active infection. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have heart disease, heart failure, or respiratory issues.
Additionally, if you have a history of hepatitis B infection, discuss it with your doctor, as there is a possibility of the infection reactivating, and it can be severe in some cases. This injection is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Mabtas N 100mg injection may cause several side effects, including blood infection, anemia, dizziness, facial and body swelling, itchy skin, diarrhea, excessive sweating, and abnormal blood pressure. If you’re capable of becoming pregnant, use reliable contraceptives during treatment and for 12 months after the final dose. Be aware that severe infusion reactions can occur during or within 24 hours of administration, and promptly inform your doctor or healthcare provider if you experience any symptoms such as elevated blood pressure, chest pain, headache, breathing difficulties, vomiting, skin rashes, or throat swelling.
