Materna FSH 150IU Injection has the active ingredient Urofollitropin. This ovulation-stimulating agent is part of a class of medicines known as gonadotropins. The drug is prescribed to help treat fertility issues in women who have not been able to ovulate, have polycystic ovarian disorder, or haven’t had a response to treatment with a medication called clomiphene citrate. It also serves to aid in the development of multiple follicles, and, as a result, it is a way to increase fertility among women undergoing IVF (in-vitro fertilization) or other forms of assisted conception. It can also be used for treating infertility in males because of a low sperm count.
Take Materna FSH 150IU Injection if you are allergic to it or any other components of this medication. Don’t take this medication if there are tumors in the pituitary gland (a gland at the brain’s base that is responsible for the production of certain hormones, including growth hormones) or in the hypothalamus (an area that is located beneath the brain’s thalamus called the thalamus that regulates the body’s conditions such as body temperature and blood pressure) or in the uterus, ovaries the testicles, and breasts or the prostate gland. Before you begin treatment, you’ll be assessed for thyroid issues, hormone levels, and tumors in the hypothalamus and pituitary.
Do not take this medication if you suffer from ovarian cysts that aren’t caused by PCOD vaginal bleeding, menopausal symptoms, or physical issues within these organs, if your womb was removed, or if you are breastfeeding or pregnant. Tell your physician immediately if you are experiencing any of these symptoms, including abdominal pain and swelling and weight increase, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, or a decrease in urine output. Inform your doctor if you suffer from liver issues or a previous history of blood clotting disorders before beginning treatment using Materna FSH 150IU injection.
