METHOTEX 1GM INJECTION

Methotex 1gm Injection has the active ingredient Methotrexate. It is an anti-metabolite as well as an immunosuppressant medication. It treats certain cancers, including acute lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) and meningeal Leukemia, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, osteosarcoma, cutaneous lymphoma, breast cancer, and neck and head cancers in adults. It can also combat severe psoriasis (a skin disease that causes patches of red, scaly spots to develop on specific body parts) in adults. It can also be used to treat rheumatoid arthritis in adults.
Do not take Methotex 1gm injection if you suffer from an allergic reaction to Methotrexate or any other component of this medication. Don’t take this medication in the event of liver or kidney issues, blood disorders, a weak immune system, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Contact your physician immediately when you experience symptoms of coughing up and spitting blood, general weakness of muscles and vision impairment, or changes in memory, thinking, and orientation issues. This medication may affect fertility. Do not become pregnant during treatment and for six weeks after the last dose.
Inform your physician if you suffer from stomach ulcers, active infection, or mild kidney problems and about any recent vaccinations before commencing treatment. Methotex 1gm injection can trigger adverse severe reactions even in small doses. Therefore, regular follow-ups and routine lab tests will be required as a measure of precaution. Don’t use this medication when you are pregnant or breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant.
