MEXATE 10MG TABLET

Mexate 10mg tablets contain the active ingredient Methotrexate. It is an antimetabolite and immunosuppressant medication. It treats certain cancers, including acute lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), meningeal leukemia and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, bone sarcoma and soft tissue, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. It also treats breast cancer, as well as the head and neck cancers of adults. It can also combat severe psoriasis in adults (a skin condition that causes patches of scaly, red spots to develop on specific body parts). It can also treat rheumatoid arthritis (a joint disease) in adults.
Don’t use Mexate 10 mg tablets if you have an allergy to Methotrexate or any of the other ingredients in this medication. Don’t take this medication when you suffer from liver or kidney issues, blood disorders, a weak immune system, are pregnant, or nursing. Contact your physician immediately when you notice any signs of coughing and spitting up blood, general weakness of muscles and vision impairment, or changes in memory, thinking, and orientation issues. The medicine could affect fertility. Beware of becoming pregnant during the treatment and for six months following the last dose.
Inform your physician if you are suffering from a stomach ulcer, active infection, minor kidney issues, and any recent vaccinations before commencing the treatment.  Mexate 10mg Tablets may cause severe side effects, even at very low doses. Hence, regular follow-ups and laboratory tests are essential safety measures. Avoid using this medication in case you are pregnant or breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant.
