MY360 tablet is an immunosuppressant that contains an active ingredient named Mycophenolate sodium. It falls under the inosine-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor class. The medicine is prescribed to avoid organ rejection in patients who have received one of their organs (such as heart, kidney, or liver transplantation). It is a part of a combination treatment that includes other immunosuppressive medications.
This medication is not recommended during pregnancy due to the possibility of miscarriage or congenital disabilities. It is not recommended during pregnancy unless there are no other suitable alternatives and the benefits outweigh any risks. Women with a reproductive capacity should be advised to utilize effective contraception when using this tablet to avoid the possibility of pregnancy. Live vaccines shouldn’t be administered while a patient takes MY360 due to the lower effectiveness of vaccines and the risk of getting infected. Patients taking this medication are not allowed to donate blood during treatment and at least six weeks after completing treatment. It is a way to ensure that the drug is entirely cleared out of the body before donating blood.
It is recommended not to take this drug if you are allergic to the medication or other ingredients. Inform your physician if you suffer from heart or liver problems before beginning the treatment. Because this medication reduces the body’s immune system, it increases the risk of developing skin cancer. Patients must know how to minimize exposure to sun and UV (UV) ultraviolet (UV) light. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any bleeding on the surface, fever, unprovoked fatigue, dizziness, discoloration of the skin or eyes, vision impairment, a decrease in urinary output, or seizures following this medication. Tablet MY360 acts as an immunosuppressive drug. It could impact the development of the infant’s immune system and is best not used during breastfeeding.
