₹268.00₹315.00 (-15%)
Mycept S 180mg tablet is an anti-inflammatory with an active ingredient known as Mycophenolate sodium. It falls under the inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor class. It is prescribed to avoid organ rejection in patients who have received the organs of a donor (such as heart, kidney, liver, or kidney transplantation). It is usually prescribed as part of a treatment combination that includes other immunosuppressive medications.
The use of this drug is not recommended during pregnancy due to the possibility of miscarriage and congenital disabilities. This medication should not be used for pregnant women unless there are other alternatives and the advantages outweigh the risks. Women who are prone to conceive are strongly advised to take the most effective contraception available when they take the tablet to avoid the possibility of pregnancy. Live vaccines shouldn’t be administered when a patient is using the Mycept S 180mg tablet due to the lower effectiveness of the vaccine as well as the risk of getting ill. People taking this medication are not allowed to donate blood during treatment and, at minimum, six weeks after having stopped treatment. This ensures that the drug has been completely removed from the body before the donation of blood.
It is usually advised not to take this drug when allergic to the medication or other components. Tell your physician if you suffer from heart or liver disease before beginning treatment. Because this medication reduces the body’s immune system, it increases the risk of developing skin cancer. Patients must know how to reduce their exposure to sun and the ultraviolet (UV) ultraviolet (UV) light. Contact your doctor immediately in case of bruises on your surface, fever, or any other unidentified fatigue, dizziness, or yellowing of the eyes or skin or eyes, vision impairment, diminished urine output, or seizures following this medication. Mycept S 180 mg tablet is an immunosuppressive medicine. It could impact the developing infant’s immune system and should not be used during breastfeeding.
