MYCEPT S 360MG TABLET

Mycept S 360 mg tablet is an anti-inflammatory drug with an active ingredient named Mycophenolate sodium. It is part of the inosine-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor class. The medicine is prescribed to avoid organ rejection in patients who have received one of their organs (such as heart, kidney, or even liver transplantation). It is defined as a part of a combination treatment that includes other immunosuppressive medicines.

The use of this drug is not recommended during pregnancy because of the risk of miscarriage or congenital disabilities. This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless there are other alternatives and the benefits outweigh any risks. Females with a reproductive capacity are strongly advised to utilize the most effective contraception available when they take this tablet to stop the possibility of becoming pregnant. Live vaccines shouldn’t be administered when a patient is on the Mycept S 360mg tablet due to the vaccine’s decreased effectiveness and the possibility of contracting an infection. Patients taking this medication are not allowed to donate blood during treatment and, at minimum, six weeks after having stopped treatment. This ensures that the drug is eliminated from the body before giving blood.

It is usually advised not to take this drug when allergic to the medication or other components. Inform your physician if you suffer from heart or liver disease before beginning treatment. Because this medication reduces the body’s immune system, it may increase the risk of developing skin cancer. Patients must know how to minimize exposure to sunlight or the ultraviolet (UV) ultraviolet (UV) light. Contact your doctor immediately in case of bruising on your skin or on the face, fever or any other unidentified fatigue, dizziness, or yellowing of the eyes or skin vision impairment, decreased urinary output, or seizures following this medication. Mycept S 360 mg tablet is an anti-inflammatory drug. It could affect the infant’s growing immune system and must be avoided during breastfeeding.
