Mycofit S 360 mg tablet is an immunosuppressant with an active ingredient known as Mycophenolate sodium. It is part of the inosine-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor class. It is prescribed to avoid organ rejection in people who have received one of their organs (such as heart, kidney, or liver transplantation). It is usually defined as a part of a treatment combination that includes other immunosuppressive medicines.
This medication is not recommended during pregnancy because of the risk of miscarriage or congenital disabilities. This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless there are no other suitable alternatives and the possible advantages outweigh the risks. Females who are prone to conceive are strongly advised to take the most effective contraception available when they take this tablet to stop the possibility of pregnancy. Live vaccines shouldn’t be administered when a patient is using Mycofit S 360mg tablet due to the decreased effectiveness of vaccines and the risk of getting ill. Patients taking this medication must not give blood during treatment and, at minimum, six weeks after having stopped treatment. This will ensure that the drug is eliminated from the body before blood is donated.
It is recommended not to use this medication when allergic to it or other ingredients. Tell your physician if you suffer from heart or liver disease before starting the treatment. Since this medication weakens the body’s immune defenses, it increases the risk of developing skin cancer. People should minimize exposure to sun and UV (UV) ultraviolet (UV) light. Contact your doctor right away in the event of swelling of the skin or the form of fever or any other unidentified fatigue, dizziness, eyes, or skin. Eyes vision impairment, decreased urinary output, or seizures following taking this medication. Mycofit S 360 mg tablet is an anti-inflammatory medication. It could interfere with the infant’s immune system development and should be kept out of breastfeeding.
