OSTEOMET 4MG INJECTION

Osteomet 4mg injection contains the active ingredient Zoledronic Acid. It is part of the class of compounds called bisphosphonates. It’s used to decrease the amount of calcium in patients’ blood when it is excessive due to tumours. Tumours may accelerate regular bone changes in a manner where the release of calcium out of bone increases. This is referred to as hypercalcemia caused by tumours (TIH). It can also be used to reduce bone problems in adults with multiple myeloma as well as bone metastases caused by the solid tumour (spread by cancer cells from their site of origin onto the bone) as well as the standard treatment for cancer.
Osteomet 4mg injection can also be used to treat or prevent osteoporosis (a condition where the bones are weak and thin and easily break) for women who have experienced menopausal change. It can also be employed to combat osteoporosis among men. It’s utilized to treat Paget’s Disease of bones (a condition where the bones are weak and soft and are susceptible to deformation or pain. They can also be easily fractured). Other applications include preventing or treating osteoporosis for women and men who take glucocorticoids (a corticosteroid medicine that can result in osteoporosis).
Don’t take this medication if you are sensitive to zoledronic acid or any other bisphosphonate or other components of this medication or in the case of pregnancy or nursing. Before beginning treatment, tell your doctor of any liver or kidney problems, bone disorders, swelling, pain, or numbness. The medication is not recommended for use in teenagers and children younger than 18 years old. Osteomet is not a cancer chemotherapy. It is not able to slow down or stop the spread of cancer. It can however be used to treat bone disorders for cancer patients.
