Pro-throm 250IU injection for hemostatic purposes drug that is part of the class of medications known as clotting factors. It is a human prothrombin complex comprising vitamin K-dependent blood-coagulation factor II VII IX, X, and X. This is employed to prevent significant bleeding in the acute stage caused by specific vitamin K antagonists (warfarin). It is also recommended for patients with lower levels of vitamin K-dependent factor coagulation II or X. It treats clotting problems when a purified specific factor isn’t available.
Don’t take Pro-throm’s 250IU injection if allergic to heparin or an ingredient in the medication. Inform your doctor if you suffer from IgA (immunoglobulin A) insufficient antibodies to IgA. Tell your physician if you have a history of heart issues, liver or kidney diseases, or if you plan to undergo any procedure before starting the treatment. This medication may increase the risk of developing bleeding thrombosis (blood clots). Inform your physician immediately if you experience any symptoms or signs of thrombosis, such as abdominal or limb swelling, chest pain, blood pressure drop, breath shortness and loss of motor control, altered state of consciousness, speech or vision problems, confusion, and fever.

The most frequent adverse effects include headaches, nausea, vomiting, lower blood pressure, and anemia. The human prothrombin complex is derived from human blood.
