R-Vac Injection

R-Vac injection is an active attenuated and live rubella virus. It is part of the class of medicines known as immunological agents. It’s used to stop rubella. Rubella is a virus that primarily affects the embryo if pregnant women are infected at the beginning of the pregnancy. The vaccine is administered to infants to protect them from contracting the disease. Don’t use this medication if you are allergic to viruses or gelatin. The vaccine should not be suggested for women who are pregnant. Tell your doctor if you’re taking medicines that weaken your immune system.
Inform your doctor if you are suffering from high fever or active infection, HIV or AIDS, blood issues, or other medical conditions before getting this vaccine. Don’t self-inject the vaccine. Similar to other vaccines, R-Vac injection could cause mild adverse effects such as discomfort and redness at the injection site, mild fever, rash, and upper respiratory infections, such as cold and cough. If the combined MMR (mumps, measles, and rubella) vaccine has not been taken, Your physician will give this distinct vaccine at 12 years or older.
