REDITUX 100MG INJECTION

Reditux 100mg injection is a medication that contains the active ingredient rituximab. It treats various conditions in adults, including non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, both cancer types that affect white blood cells called B-lymphocytes. Combined with methotrexate, it is also used to treat moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis, where the immune system attacks the body’s joints. Additionally, Reditux 100 mg injection is used to treat granulomatosis with polyangiitis or microscopic polyangiitis, which are inflammatory conditions that affect the blood vessels in adults and children over the age of 2. It is also used to treat moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris, an autoimmune condition that causes painful blisters on the skin and mucous membranes. Rituximab, an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, is the ingredient in Reditux 100mg injection. If you have an allergy to rituximab or any other component of this medicine, a compromised immune system, or a severe active infection, you should avoid using this medication. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have heart disease, heart failure, or breathing issues. If you have a history of hepatitis B infection, discuss it with your doctor because, in some cases, the infection may reactivate and be severe. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are not advised while taking this injection. Suppose you’re taking a Reditux 100mg injection. In that case, you may experience some side effects, including blood infection, anaemia, dizziness, facial and body swelling, itchy skin, diarrhoea, excessive sweating, and low or high blood pressure. It’s essential to use reliable contraceptives during the treatment and for 12 months after the last dose if you’re able to get pregnant. Be aware that this medication can cause severe infusion reactions, which can occur during or within 24 hours after administration. Inform your physician or healthcare professional immediately if you notice any infusion reactions, such as increased blood pressure, chest pain, headache, breathing difficulties, vomiting, skin rashes, or throat swelling.
