Rituxirel RN 500mg injection is made up of the active component of rituximab. It is used to treat different diseases that affect adults. It can be taken on its own or with other medicines to treat non-hodgkin’s Lymphoma (cancer that affects B-lymphocytes, which are white blood cells) and chronic lymphocytic Leukemia (the most frequent form of cancer that affects B-cells). It can also treat moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (an illness in which the immune system attacks cells in the body of its joints) when combined with methotrexate for adults. Other uses include granulomatosis, polyangiitis or microscopic angiitis (inflammation of blood vessels primarily affecting the lungs and kidneys) for children and adults aged two years and over. It can also treat moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris (an auto-immune condition that can cause painful burns on the skin and the lining of the mouth, nasal, throat and genitals.
Rituxirel, RN (500mg) injection is a part of a class of medicines known as anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody. Avoid taking this medication if you are sensitive to rituximab or other components of this medication, suffer from a weak immune system, or suffer from an active disease. Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, failure, or breathing issues before initiating treatment. Discuss with your physician if you’ve ever suffered a hepatitis B infection since the infection can reactivate in some instances and may be severe in some cases. Breastfeeding and pregnancy are not advised when using this injectable.
Common adverse reactions of Rituxirel RN, 500 mg injection, include blood infections and red blood cells, decreased dizziness, swelling of the body and face, itchy skin and more sweating and high or low blood pressure. Utilize effective contraceptives during treatment as well as 12 months after the last dose if you can become pregnant. This medicine can trigger severe reactions to infusions during or within 24 hours of treatment. Inform your doctor or health professional if you have any reactions to the infusion, like elevated blood pressure, chest pain, headache, vomiting, breathing problems, and skin rashes. Also, you may experience throat swelling.
