SALAZAR TABLET

Salazar Tablet contains sulfasalazine. It treats intestinal inflammation such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. In ulcerative colitis, the lining of the giant colon (colon and the passage to the back) gets inflamed, which results in bleeding from the rectal area, abdominal discomfort, and frequent and severe diarrhoea. In Crohn’s disease, any area of the digestive system, from the mouth to the anus, may be affected (most typically the last portion of the small bowel as well as the initial part of the large bowel), which can cause the abdominal area to be painful and bloody.
Salazar Tablet, can also be used to treat the condition known as rheumatoid arthritis (a form of arthritis which causes stiffness, swelling and loss of functionality in joints) and ankylosing Spondylitis (a rare type of arthritis that causes stiffness and discomfort on your back). The medicine is not recommended when you suffer from porphyria (rare blood pigmentation disorder) or are sensitive to aspirin or other antibiotics (sulfonamides). This medication is not recommended for children under two years of age.
Talk to your doctor if you have liver problems, kidney problems, asthma, blood disorders, or an inherited condition in which your body lacks an enzyme known as glucose-6-dehydrogenase before taking Salazar Tablet. To avoid kidney issues, drinking plenty of fluids while taking this medication is recommended.
