SEVOCIP 400MG TABLET
₹72.00₹90.00 (-20%)
Sevocip 400mg tablet is a source of an active ingredient known as Sevelamer. It is part of the medication class referred to as phosphate binders. It is employed to control hyperphosphatemia (high blood levels of phosphate) in adults undergoing dialysis (hemodialysis or dialysis in the peritoneal region) and those suffering from chronic kidney disease with elevated levels of serum phosphorus. To avoid bone disease, it should be combined with other treatments, including vitamin D supplements and calcium. A high level of blood phosphorus can result in calcification, where deposits develop and increase the stiffness of blood vessels, thereby affecting blood flow.
Do not take Sevocip 400 mg tablets if you have an allergy to Sevelamer or any other components in the medicine. Do not consume this medication when you are suffering from an insufficient amount of phosphate as well as an obstruction in the bowel. Before you take this medicine, be sure to inform your doctor if you are pregnant, are planning to become pregnant, or suspect that you are nursing or pregnant. Before beginning therapy, tell your physician to be aware if you are having difficulty swallowing or if you feel your stomach or bowels have issues moving food.
Also, tell your doctor if you have an intestinal inflammation or suffered a significant bowel or stomach surgery. Sevocip 400 mg tablet is not recommended for children who are less than six years of age due to the lack of research studies regarding their safety or effectiveness within the same age group. If your doctor has warned you of a sugar intolerance, you should consult your physician before taking this medication since it is lactose-based.
